Privacy notice

This notice explains which personal data is processed in the Jay-Jay Client Hub and how it is protected.

Last updated: 22 July 2026

01

Controller

The controller is Jay-Jay, Jeremy Läderach, Rechenbühlstrasse 78, 8106 Adlikon, Switzerland. Privacy enquiries can be sent to jeremy.laederach@jay-jay.ch.

02

Data processed

The Client Hub processes account and sign-in data, names and business contact details, company data, and content submitted through boards, tickets, comments, and support requests.

Depending on use, it also processes private documents, attachments, invoice details, and download records. Technical logs may contain an IP address, time, requested address, browser, operating system, and access status.

03

Purposes

Data is processed to authenticate accounts, coordinate customer work and support requests, provide shared files and invoices, and keep communication and collaboration understandable.

Technical information is used for secure operation, access control, misuse prevention, troubleshooting, backups, and the investigation of security events.

04

Hosting and recipients

The first production phase is intended to be hosted by hosttech GmbH, Seestrasse 15a, 8805 Richterswil, Switzerland, with data located in Switzerland. The actual production configuration and contractual privacy terms will be verified before launch.

Personal data is not sold. It is disclosed to processors or other recipients only where necessary for operation, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or a service expressly requested by the customer.

05

Cookies and external services

The Client Hub uses technically necessary session and security cookies for sign-in, access control, and protection against forged form requests. The protected area cannot operate without these cookies.

No analytics, advertising, or tracking services are currently used. Fonts and application resources are served locally.

06

Retention

Account, customer, and engagement data is retained for as long as required for the business relationship, agreed services, and reasonable follow-up. Statutory retention duties for invoices and business records remain reserved.

Download records are deleted after twelve months. Production application logs are generally limited to 14 days. Files, comments, and other engagement data are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed for their purpose and no legal duty or overriding interest requires longer retention.

07

Data security

The Client Hub uses password-protected accounts, role- and customer-based access checks, private file storage, and secure sessions. Encrypted transmission, restricted server access, operational logging, and regular backups are additionally planned for production; the actual implementation will be verified before launch.

Absolute protection against every risk in digital systems cannot be guaranteed. Security incidents are assessed according to their severity and handled in line with the applicable duties.

08

Rights and contact

Within the scope of applicable Swiss data-protection law, individuals may in particular request access, correction, deletion, or release of their personal data. Statutory duties and overriding interests remain reserved.

Requests can be sent to jeremy.laederach@jay-jay.ch. A complaint may also be submitted to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
